Vision for Vashon - Working Groups Reports - With Video!

The Vision For Vashon website now has dedicated sections for the six V4V Working Groups. These Working Groups are each blooming in their own varied ways as organic outcroppings of our April Vision For Vashon Forum. Our goal here is to provide an online hub for information and communication relating to these six working groups.

For starters, dig in below to watch video and digest notes from the April Forum. Then, please feel free to let us know how we can make it better for you all!

V4V Forum Videos

On Saturday, April 25, close to 100 people attended one part or another of an eight-hour Island-wide meeting designed to generate ideas and action plans in the areas of affordable housing, sustainability on Vashon, energy and transportation, health and wellness, local exchange currency, and food security.

The forum was entitled Reweaving the Fabric of Community, and featured thoughtful presentations, animated discussions, tabling by some fifteen Island organizations, a delicious dinner and dancing to the music of Vashon favorite Bob Krinsky with musical friends from Seattle.

These videos are from Vision4Vashon forum April 2009...
