Garden Gatherings “Raising Our Own Food”

The Garden Gatherings are potlucks, so we will begin eating very shortly after 6:00. If you are contributing a dish and plan to eat, try to be on time so everyone will get a chance to try your food. I plan to start the sharing session at 6:30, so we have plenty of time to share ideas.

No preparation is necessary, except bring a potluck dish if you want to eat. (If you don’t want to eat, that is okay too—just come to share at 6:00 or 6:15.) To save paper and waste, please bring your own non-disposable dinnerware for eating. Bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. Children are welcome, but parents should supervise them closely for safety. No dogs, please—they upset the chickens.

Important Information on Parking Space: It is very limited. I have room for about 6–7 cars, so I encourage you to park on Monument Road, if you can. The walk is about 500 feet up the driveway.

Weather: Since we will meet outside, these events are WEATHER-PERMITTING only. If the weather seems "iffy," check your email on Sunday afternoon about 3:00 or give me a call.
